Peterhead Running Festival and Fun Day

Peterhead jogscotland is preparing for a big day of running and fun on Sunday.
The Festival takes place at Catto Park playing fields and running track, with organisers hoping to build on last year's attendance of more than 600.
Events include the half marathon, Shell School Fun Runs, and Shell 5K run. There will also be craft stalls and a children's play area with bouncy castle and face painting.
“Without their generous sponsorship it would be impossible to put on an event of this scale in Peterhead.
“We hope that people of all ages will be inspired to get more active after watching the Olympics, and take part in the festival. All are welcome from the five-year-old primary one pupil who can take part in Shell School Fun Runs to grannies and granddads who can walk, jog or even run the Shell 5km.”
