RUN FOR ROMANIA

02 / 08 / 2012

Blythswood Care is holding the Drymen 10K and Junior Mile on Saturday 25th August to raise money for its work with deprived children in Romania.

The Junior Mile is for eight to 16-year-olds, while over-16s can take part in the 10K.

Proceeds will go towards improvements at Blythswood’s Talita Kum project in Romania, which offers children of primary age from a very poor background the chance to stay in education for longer, improving their work and survival chances in life. They are offered help with homework, nourishing food, showers, and basic hygiene education.
