Junior Workshops
What
The two hour workshop will explain in detail how to use the junior jogscotland resource pack.
Attendance of this workshop is optional. There is no pre-requisite to attend the workshop before launching a junior group, although it might be useful:
It will cover the following issues:
- How to lead a proper warm up for kids
- The actual session games themselves
- Cool down and stretching, how to get kids to learn and do them after their activity
- Dealing with children in groups, safety, noise and of course how to make it fun
Please note the workshop does not give a formal qualification, but will give vounteers and those leading the junior groups the knowledge and confidence how to to lead the group.

Those people not affilliated to the above groups will need to link in with one to be a junior leader and to start a junior group. PLEASE NOTE THAT ORGANISATIONS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR DISCLOSURE CHECKING OF THEIR JUNIOR JOGSCOTLAND LEADERS.
