Race packs must be collected on the night of the event from the Collection Desk at Inverleith Park. The race pack will contain your running number, timing chip, ties to attach the chip to your shoe, baggage label and 4 safety pins. Please arrive early to allow us to start the event on time.
Travelling Directions:
The start and finish area is within Inverleith Park on Arboretum Place. We do encourage you to lift share where possible or take public transport to the park. If walking from the city centre the park is approx 1.4 miles from Waverley Station/Princes Street.
If using Sat Nav or online mapping services, such as Google Maps, to get to Inverleith Park you should enter the postcode EH3 5NY to obtain directions. There is on-street parking available around the park, which is Pay & Display up to 5.30 pm, however this will fill up quickly. Please note that most of Arboretum Place will be closed for the event.
Various bus routes operate around Inverleith Park, check www.lothianbuses.com for details.
The course will be clearly marked with marshals and signs. It’s a beautiful course but please do look at the map so you are familiar with the route. Please be courteous to other runners. On part of the route alongside the river runners will be going in both directions, please ensure that you keep to the left of the cones at this point.
A map of the route is below:
If you have the Google Earth plugin installed you can view a fly-by of the course below, If you don't have Google Earth you can download it here
